Jamie’s grown up a lot by this point, hasn’t he? Something about hanging out with the alt kids (and the sheer perspective-setting relaxation of first good sex) maybe?

One of the things I love about this comic is how one can see how much Tab’s art has evolved, I went back to check page 47 of Charlie’s Story for the foreshadowing, and I can’t get over how even though it hasn’t been that much time, we can still notice changes in the art.
I’ve been reading since the end of Nay’s story, to accompany this evolution as it happened has been a real honor for me. Thank you Tab, you’re the best.

How come when I looked up surgery to make a penis, I found out that they could make one? It looked pretty legit. It had long doctor terms and everything. They put you on hormones and then the hormones cause you to have just the beginning of a penis and there’s a surgery that makes it longer and then another one to make you able to pee out of it and then another one to give you nonfunctional silicon balls and then one more to make you capable of making it hard at will. The last one I’m skeptical of because it sounds very complicated. Are these real surgeries? (Oh and it said that the penises don’t look quite right and they hang a bit lower than normal.)

Queue the “it’s okay because he’s /damaged/” comments as he says douchey things and gets punched for it. e_e

I’ve come to like Jamie more as a character but I’m with Steve on the punching TBH. If he’d said something like that to my boyfriend, I would have socked him too. He’s about to have a baaaaad day, but hey, at least there’s Charlie soon.

From the veiwpoint of an educated individual, he is. For the point of view of a child, he’s doing his best to protect his best friend from a “monster”. I think its sweet how much Jamie cares for his friends.

Tentacles coming out of jamie are very telling. It’s not mark and Steve that are evil, its the idea of what they are doing, and all the horror and personal failure he associates with that.
