I was wondering if the new comic will still be on this page? And my friends n I are huge fans
we wish we could meet u but we’re in iowa lol charlie reminds me of one of my best friends actually. Laters!
Wow. Just fucking wow. I wish I could have read this comic 10 years ago. Fantastic storylines, fantastic characters, fantastic drawing. Seriously. I don’t give such praise lightly. I want every queer kid in the world growing up to be able to read this, and fall in love with all the characters as I just have!
I started reading when you were working on Alex’s story. It was amazing because I hadn’t really seen much about this kind of thing before. It was uncomfortable…but in a good way. I wish I had read this when I was in high school, gotten to some of these questions earlier in life. I was excited to read Jaime and Charlie’s story. Can’t say that was the ending I was imagining, but it was challenging and moving at the end, uncomfortable again, good. Thank you so much for sharing your work freely with us.
I can’t remember when I started – wehen *we* started on this journey, but I remain amazed at what you have acheived with “only a webcomic”. Fully-fleshed, 3-D, real characters we feel that we get to know, the way one long story is shown over (and over, without seeming to repeat) 8 stories, the way the stories all interact and relate… I can think of only one word to say – “Publish!” Comics with such great story-telling as these deserve to be paperbacks, even hardcover – and I mean that. I haven’t felt so emotionally connected to characters and their stories since Strangers in Paradise.
Still feeling the breakup…
Seriously, if you get these published, I for one will buy all eight with no hesitation (except financial).
