IMO Mark should’ve been the one to punch Jamie, not Steve.
I think Mark was still too shocked.
Nah, Mark isn’t the type to lash out like that. It had to be the over-protective boyfriend.
This is my favorite page.
This is even more heartbreaking now after getting this far into Jamies story.
It just seemed like Jamie is the one the world decided to shit on. I hope it works out for him.
at the beginning of mark’s story he says that steve is always laid back and cool, and when Amber kisses him it is really strong and not like the soft kisses girls give compared to boys, so i think it should have been her not steve hitting jamie. this is actually one of my least favorite stories in KK, for that one reason
Except Steve is a LOT closer to Mark and knows a lot more about him since they grew up than Amber is.
Amber removed herself from the personal drama by breaking up. She is an observer of the 3 boys who were friends since childhood falling out because she doesn’t have a place in it. Shame you can’t piece that together.
To add to taekwondogirl’s comment, doesn’t the uncharacteristic rage from Steve accentuate just how terrible of a thing Jamie just said?
And yeah, I totally agree that Amber isn’t nearly close enough to the situation. They dated for, what? Three weeks max? They’re pretty much just friends who made out for a while. Not that close, all things considered.
